About Sophie Young

Hi I’m Sophie, a dog photographer based in Somerset who specialises in capturing fantastic images of your best friends in the place they love the most - the great outdoors.

How it all started

It all began in 2020 when I met the love of my life, my dog, Fender! I’d always been into photography but now my mission was capturing the best photos I could of my best boy. It wasn’t an easy start - none of Fenders puppy photos are fit for my current portfolio. I had lots to learn, but through hard work and determination I’ve progressed to the point where I now capture beautiful, natural portraits of other peoples beloved pets.

Meet the Family

When I’m not out and about photographing dogs or in my office editing images, you’ll find me pottering about in my garden with my lovely ginger cat getting under my feet, or out on an adventure in the campervan with Fender and my partner.
